For flere tradisjonalister kritiserer ogs\u00e5 selve konsilet; selve dokumentene, eller (helst) helheten i det som skjedde under konsilet (dvs. hva mange biskoper \u00f8nsket (og klarte) \u00e5 gj\u00f8re ved \u00e5 f\u00e5 vedtatt mange noks\u00e5 upresise dokumenter).
