{"id":13924,"date":"2020-10-21T15:30:08","date_gmt":"2020-10-21T13:30:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/aomoi.net\/blogg\/?p=13924"},"modified":"2020-10-21T15:31:42","modified_gmt":"2020-10-21T13:31:42","slug":"den-katolske-kirken-i-tyskland-fortsetter-arbeidet-med-a-fa-i-stand-felleskommunion-med-protestanter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aomoi.net\/blogg\/2020\/10\/den-katolske-kirken-i-tyskland-fortsetter-arbeidet-med-a-fa-i-stand-felleskommunion-med-protestanter\/","title":{"rendered":"Den katolske kirken i Tyskland fortsetter arbeidet med \u00e5 f\u00e5 i stand felleskommunion med protestanter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncregister.com\/news\/cardinals-deplore-german-bishops-slide-as-schism-fears-arise\">National Catholic Register skriver<\/a> om den stadig alvorligere spenningen mellom de tyske biskopene og Vatikanet:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Despite Pope Francis\u2019 warnings, the leaders of the Church in Germany have refused to back down on their promotion of intercommunion or to change the course on their much-criticized \u2018synodal path.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As reports emerged recently of Pope Francis\u2019 \u201cdramatic concern\u201d about the state of the Catholic Church in Germany and news that he received Germany\u2019s apostolic nuncio for private talks on Monday, the country\u2019s bishops pressed ahead on their goal of shared Communion with Protestants despite strong objections from the Vatican.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/cruxnow.com\/church-in-europe\/2020\/10\/german-churches-plan-to-continue-talks-on-shared-communion\/\">leaders of both churches said<\/a> their intercommunion proposal \u201cstill needs to be clarified\u201d even though the Congregation for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicnewsagency.com\/news\/vaticans-doctrinal-office-critiques-german-theologians-intercommunion-call-35452\">Doctrine of the Faith said last month<\/a> that differences in the Catholic and Protestant understanding of the Eucharist were \u201cstill so grave\u201d that they ruled out attendance at each other\u2019s services.<\/p>\n<p>The increasing divergence between Rome and the German bishops, amplified by the ongoing Synodal Path \u2014 a two-year reform program of German bishops and laity that questions some of the Church\u2019s established teaching on faith and morals \u2014 demonstrates the real dangers of the Church in Germany one day breaking with Rome. <\/p>\n<p>In September, a leading German prelate raised the possibility of schism for the first time. <\/p>\n<p>Cardinal Rainer Woelki of Cologne warned that the \u201cworst outcome would be if the Synodal Path leads to schism\u201d and that the \u201cworst thing\u201d would be if a \u201cGerman national church were to be created here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Such a prospect is something Pope Francis appears increasingly concerned about, despite his own efforts to grant more autonomy to bishops\u2019 conferences on doctrinal matters which critics have warned has sowed the seeds of a kind of \u201cdoctrinal anarchy\u201d in the Church. <\/p>\n<p>Cardinal Kurt Koch of Switzerland, president of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, said last month that the Pope had expressed his concern about the Church in Germany \u201cin personal conversations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Heinz-Josef Algermissen of Fulda in central Germany, where the intercommunion proposal was discussed at the end of September, said the Pope had expressed \u201cdramatic concern\u201d about the Church in Germany when he spoke to him after the general audience Oct. 7, although in neither case was it clear that he was explicitly concerned about schism. <\/p>\n<p>The bishop recalled a letter the Pope wrote to German Catholics in June 2019, supporting the Synodal Path but urging them to focus on evangelization.
