Artikkelen handler egentlig mest om den nye engelske oversettelsen av messen, men overdriver nok hva den nye oversettelsen kan gj\u00f8re. Messene p\u00e5 engelsk vil nok foreg\u00e5 som f\u00f8r; noen ganske gode, mange &laquo;midt p\u00e5 treet&raquo; og noen helt forferdelige &#8211; med showmannship av presten, misbruk og ulovligheter. F.eks. vil man nok oftest droppe den fulle formen av syndsbekjennelsen (som n\u00e5 er blitt komplett med tre slag for brystet) og f\u00f8rste kanonb\u00f8nn (som er blitt dramatisk forbedret, og er ganske mye bedre ogs\u00e5 enn den norske, som egentlig ikke er s\u00e5 verst).<\/p>\n<p>Jeg brukte den nye engellske messeboken for f\u00f8rste gang sist s\u00f8ndag, og skal gj\u00f8re det de to neste s\u00f8ndagene ogs\u00e5, og jeg kommer forh\u00e5pentligvis med mine erfaringer om ikke s\u00e5 lenge.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cI am old now but when I was young I was received into the Church.
