Et dokument som heter \u201cMinimum Profile of Formation for Former Protestant Ministers Who Desire to Be Ordained Catholic Priests\u201d er offentliggjort, og ganske snart h\u00e5per vi \u00e5 f\u00e5 lese hele dokumentet.<\/p>\n<p>I USA har det v\u00e6rt spesielle regler for tidligere anglikanske\/episkopale prester, men ikke for de andre, f.eks. de lutherske. P\u00e5 en m\u00e5te virker dette som gammelt nytt, for da biskop Schwenzer s\u00f8kte Vatikanet om jeg kunne bli katolsk prest &#8211; som tidligere luthersk prest og ogs\u00e5 gift &#8211; visste han\/vi allerede om hovedtrekkene i dette dokumentet; tre \u00e5rs forberedelse og vektlegging p\u00e5 enkelte viktige teologiske disipliner.  S\u00e5pass mye vet vi om det nye dokumentet: <!--more--><\/p>\n<p><i><font color=\"#333399\">it outlines the required program of formation, including studies in the areas of Philosophy, Sacred Scripture, Dogmatic Theology, Liturgical and Sacramental Theology, Moral Theology, and Canon Law. It speaks of \u201chuman formation,\u201d to assist the candidate to become \u201cthe living image of Jesus Christ,\u201d and also of \u201cspiritual formation\u201d to provide the former minister with growth in Catholic spirituality and devotional practices, especially in the areas of Eucharistic and Marian devotion. There is also a section about \u201cpastoral formation,\u201d intended to help the candidates become \u201ctrue shepherds after the example of Christ.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Included in the document is the following paragraph:<br \/>\n\u201cThe Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith requires that former Protestant ministers should undergo a period of no less than three years of formation in Catholic theology.
