I et intervju i L&#8217;Osservatore Romano nylig sa kardinal Dario Castrillon, leder av den pavelige kommisjonen Ecclesia Dei, at pavens motu proprio gir alle prester en rett til \u00e5 feire denne messen. Pope Benedict&#8217;s Motu Proprio of July last year liberalised the use of the Tridentine Mass, stating that priests who wished to celebrate the extraordinary form did not need their bishop&#8217;s permission.
