Takker for velment advarsel, men jeg st\u00e5r p\u00e5 trygg 1960 \u00e5rs konstant kirkelig praksis.&raquo;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Dette sammenfaller med <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latinmassmagazine.com\/articles\/articles_2001_SP_Ripperger.html\">en ganske kjent artikkel av Fr. Chad Ripperger<\/a>, F.S.S.P. (fra 2001) som jeg leste  i dag, om hvordan man skal forst\u00e5 den kirkelige tradisjonen, og om hvordan tradisjonelle katolikker og de s\u00e5kalte (ny)konservative katolikker oppfatter tradisjonen forskjellig. Her tar jeg med innledning og avslutning til (den forholdsvis lange) artikkelen:<\/p>\n<p><i><font color=\"#333399\">&#8230; a group of friends had lunch in Rome. One of the priests who offers Mass according to the new rite was a bit dumbfounded. He had written an article in which he had discussed certain aspects of the liturgical reform. His puzzlement came from the fact that traditionalists had attacked his article and he could not understand why. A traditionalist seminarian said to the priest, \u201cWe agree that something has to be done about the liturgy, but we do not agree on what should be done.\u201d Traditionalists and neoconservatives often find each other mystifying, and the reason for this has to do with the relationship each position holds with respect to ecclesiastical tradition. &#8230; &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; In summary, then, the differences between traditionalists and neoconservatives are rooted in their respective attitudes to extrinsic or ecclesiastical tradition.
