{"id":9914,"date":"2015-10-05T18:51:44","date_gmt":"2015-10-05T16:51:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/aomoi.net\/blogg\/?p=9914"},"modified":"2015-10-05T18:51:54","modified_gmt":"2015-10-05T16:51:54","slug":"kardinal-peter-erdo-apner-bispesynoden-med-et-tydelig-innlegg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aomoi.net\/blogg\/2015\/10\/kardinal-peter-erdo-apner-bispesynoden-med-et-tydelig-innlegg\/","title":{"rendered":"Kardinal P\u00e9ter Erd\u00f6 \u00e5pner bispesynoden med et tydelig innlegg"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>John Allen skriver om \u00e5pningsinnlegget p\u00e5 bispesynoden i dag:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>When the first Synod of Bishops on the family got underway last October, conservatives concerned with upholding traditional doctrine appeared caught off guard by a progressive push on several fronts, including relaxing the ban on Communion for Catholics who divorce and remarry outside the Church.<\/p>\n<p>The leading symbol of that disorientation was the way Hungarian Cardinal P\u00e9ter Erd\u0151, ostensibly the man supposed to guide the summit\u2019s work in his role as \u201cGeneral Relator,\u201d appeared to be sidelined by more progressive prelates, especially Italian Archbishop Bruno Forte, in producing a controversial interim report calling for greater openness on divorce, homosexuality, and other hot-button topics.<\/p>\n<p>If the opening day of Synod 2015 is any indication, Erd\u0151 has no intention of letting that happen again.<\/p>\n<p>In his 7,000-word opening address on Monday morning, intended to set the tone for the synod\u2019s work, Erd\u0151 seemed determined to close a series of doors that many people believed the last synod had left open \u2014 beginning with the controversial proposal of German Cardinal Walter Kasper to allow divorced and civilly remarried Catholics to return to Communion.<\/p>\n<p>That Communion ban, Erd\u0151 insisted, is not an \u201carbitrary prohibition\u201d but \u201cintrinsic\u201d to the nature of marriage as a permanent union.
